Michael was born in Melbourne Australia (1961) and moved to the Whitsunday Passage (Shute Harbour) on the Great Barrier Reef when he was 11.He attended the University of Southern Queensland and studied Film & Television. He spent a year abroad (7 months on a Kibbutz in Israel, 3 months hitching Europe, 3 months in London).
He went home to OZ to become an assistant cameraman at BTQ 7 (Network 7) in Brisbane (Queensland).He them moved to Carlsbad in 1983 and worked at KDCI to get back in the game.He went on to KUSI a few years later and then got called up as a freelancer for KGTV. After almost a year, He was offered a position as a Photojournalist full time.He is now an experimental Digital Correspondent and serve North County. Do you have a story in the North County?
