DES MOINES, Iowa -- A construction worker in Des Moines, Iowa, survived a four-story fall Tuesday morning, authorities said.Rescue crews said the accident happened at East 4th Street and Grand Avenue around 10:40 a.m. The man was working on the top of a building in the East Village on a new condo development.
Witnesses told local television station KCCI that the man fell about 60 feet to the ground, but was still conscious.Police are investigating how the incident happened.The man was taken to Iowa Methodist Medical Center. His name and condition are not yet available.
