The Philadelphia Eagles began the final day of the NFL's
regular season in an anxious state of uncertainty, not knowing whether their
tenuous playoff chances would remain intact when they took the field for last
Sunday's mid-afternoon clash with the rival Dallas Cowboys.
New York Giants running back Brandon
Jacobs, who has missed two of the last three games due to a knee injury,
practiced Wednesday and said he's ready to play in Sunday's NFC divisional
playoff showdown with the Philadelphia Eagles.
